First Female Cruise Ship Captain

Sarah Breton, 45, from Essex, is also understood by the company to be the first female captain of a cruise ship in Britain. Captain Sarah Breton, who set sail on the 1,200 passenger ship Artemis, said: “Growing up near the water I always loved boats and the ocean, so it really does fulfill a lifelong ambition of mine to be a Captain with P&O Cruises.
